Simply X-ray Agent
From the X-ray device to the patient card — hands-free
A small Windows program installed on the X-ray workstation. It watches the folder where the device saves images and sends each new scan to your Simply Dental server by itself. No flash drives, no manual copying, no archive stranded on a separate computer.
How it works

Installation
Run one file, enter the 6-digit pairing code and point it at the image folder. That's all.

Patient matching
The doctor clicks "Take X-ray" on the patient page — the next image lands in that patient's card.

Always running
Runs as a Windows service: starts with the computer and recovers on its own after a failure. Staff never have to launch anything.

Offline-safe
With no connection, images queue up and are delivered as soon as the internet returns. No image is ever sent twice.
- Included in the Simply Dental plan — no extra fee.
- Requires a Windows machine and the folder where the device saves images (a network share works too).
- The device model doesn't matter — if it saves JPG or PNG, the agent works.
